This medal was issued in 1984 in Hungary by the Hungarian Jewish Religious Community to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Holocaust and the deportation of Hungarian Jews. It was issued in Bronze with a diameter of 68mm.
History: A similar medal was offered for sale in William M. Rosenblum’s Rare Coins November 2004 Mailbid sale. Lot 875. Sold for $100.
